LIE OF THE WEEK: 03-28-2008

Senator Hillary Clinton on continuing her impossible presidential campaign:

"I believe a spirited contest is good for the Democratic Party and will strengthen the eventual nominee. We will have a united party behind whomever that nominee is. ... I look forward to campaigning over the next several months."

THE TRUTH: Senator Clinton has already lost any chance of winning her party's nomination for the presidency and the only way she could still claim a victory is through one of her underhanded tactics becoming a death blow to Senator Obama's career. There is no way the Democratic Party will be united after her divisive tactics, especially the race-baiting she has done to lure some racists to vote for her as well as her constant positioning as the female candidate to motivate single issue feminists in her direction. These voters will never come back around to vote for Obama after all of the propaganda spread against him by the Clinton campaign (and also by the Republican 527's in the fall). The Clintons have stooped to a new low in this campaign, proving that all of their "values" are nothing but window dressing when they stand in the way of winning a campaign. They have also made sure that if they don't win, no other Democrat will win either, possibly as an attempt to allow for another run against an incumbent Republican in four years.
